Timeline
In September of 2006, a small group of girls from nasioc.com's NESIC met for the first ever "Girlie Meet." It was that day that they all knew that much bigger things would come. With the help of New England based Subaru enthusiast forums (seacoastsubarus.com (now newenglandsubarus.com) and ctsubaru.com), the small group of girls were able to connect and expand their network with other female Subaru drivers in New England. In August of 2007, www.myspace.com/SubieGirls was built allowing the New England based group of girls to reach Subie Girls all over the country and even internationally! With the advice of Justin from jnaperformance.com, they purchased their web domain and got working on the website. SubieGirls.com was launched in June of 2009.
Educate. Encourage. Empower
SubieGirls.com believes that all motor vehicle owners should know how to properly maintain and care for their vehicles. There are no exceptions, be it for man OR woman. SubieGirls.com will educate owners on the fundamentals of maintaining and caring for their cars.
Some of the best ways to learn are to read, listen and ask questions! SubieGirls.com encourages women to learn more than the fundamentals of being a car owner and provide them with a welcoming environment that allows them to do so.
SubieGirls.com empowers women to take a part in the car enthusiast community, to educate and to encourage others! |
