I thought I would do a separate thread on this since the rear badge is glued on a bit different then the front.

See the front badge thread for the stuff you will need since it is the same.
Since you have massive potential to eff up your paint if you slip while prying the badge off...I recommend taping it off.

We used ice fishing line this time and had to stick a small screwdriver in there to wedge it in. Once you heat up the badge for about 5 minutes you can slide the line across the badge to release it from the backing.

Once it is off...you have a different set up then the front.

You should clean off the glue from the car....
You will have to heat up the badge again once you remove it from the car to remove it from the bezel. A bit of crafty mini screwdrivership will work once it is heated up a bit.
Finish painting it the same way as the front badge....
This is the stuff I used to glue them both back on.

And voila......

Didn't realize it was like, attached attached and not like the badges on my car where you can basically just heat gun/goo gone them off. Interesting. I guess there are no de-badging those then?

You have to fill the holes and repaint.

You have to fill the holes and repaint.

Once you pull the badge off after heating it....you have to do it again and then the back part with the tabs comes off. They are just there for guidance.

So those aren't holes?!? I think the 06-07 had holes in the trunk.

They are holes in the trunk...but everything goes back together nicely.
