yup same with o-rings for me. i can only wear double flared. i have to limit my time in wood/horn/and bone. i don't do plastic at all. pretty much i'm a picky bitch when it comes to my plugs so my collection is small and expensive.


Nick has the problem of having FAT/thick lobes so we have to watch the size of the wear area... (we both are at the same size so we share plugs sometimes)



I guess i'll add a recent purchase... we ordered this jacket for Nick... since he is riding the buss and it's spring/summer and he needed something wind/waterproof.

I haven't bought plugs in years either. I kind of want some - but I barely where what I have and sometimes I think about which birthday will be the "one I grow up" on. I have a few years before 30 - but I'd like some elasticity left in my ears so the holes hopefully shrink themselves. :shrug we'll see.

Yea, I am currently going through the stretching process now. Started at a 16g, now at an 8g. I think I am stopping here or going to 6g not sure yet.

Check eBay! There is an eBay seller "mysilverdreams" and that's where I have been picking up all my tapers and plugs. I am sticking with surgical steel since I know that has been working great for me. I am told that using silicone or the acrylics can cause infection while stretching. Plus, surgical steel is just easier to clean.

I honestly wouldn't pay the extra money for the ipad 2 when the only real difference is that it has a camera. Unless you know people that have iphones and stuff that you will use the Facetime with (requiring wifi). If not, i would recommend gettin the first gen ipad. It'll be $100-$200 cheaper.

I'm quite reluctant to post anything on any message board or social networking site because most of my friends give me so much grief for buying expensive ''toys''. At the same time, they go out and buy a ridiculously expensive TV or console system, or yes an iphone that they rarely use (they don't answer their phone, don't care whose calling).

I spend quite a bit when I have money, but I don't believe in buying cheap junk if I can avoid it.

I believe that. There are so many umm technophobes out there, and people just out of the loop. They have to get used to the idea that books are now in electronic form and they don't need to buy heavy things to put in their bags to eventually take their backs out. It's also the price of entry point. Still less expensive to buy (with some) books than an ipad.

I also think it's the 19yo girl and maybe guy who will think their friends will think they're total geeks for having books on an ipad.

I bought my fiance a black iphone 4 for his bday and he loves it. He uses the ipod part a lot which works out since he broke his itouch lol. My itouch finally died as well so im probably going to get a nano this time since i don't use my ipod for apps or internet. Seeing as how i have my phone and ipad for those things. :p i used to have an iphone 3G but when i switched to verizon, they didn't have iphones yet so i have the Droid X and i love it because of the huge screen :)

The ipad 2 is thinner, faster, and has better battery life. I'm also not expecting the cameras to be at the quality of a point and shoot, nor SLR. Not only that but the 2 gives me the ability to go with verizon which has a less expensive data plan(s).

That jacket is cute!! I almost got a bunch of their pants at the outlet up in Burlington. But I was in between sizes so I was hesitant to buy. I might go some other time when I catch up on money. Or ask for some for my birthday lol.




Only thing I bought recently was bras (I won't post those lol) and new work shoes. My old ones were making my back hurt being that they are a few years old.

Oh yes... I LOVE their stuff. That's almost all I work out in, I have a lot now. I go up the to outlet a couple times a year. It's still pretty expensive though.

I could blow this thread up. Cause I just moved to a new apt. I had to get a bunch of stuff for my place. :lol: so far I got some towels, shower curtain (clearance ftw), stuff for my bathroom, lots of food (gotta fill those cupboards for my bby!), knives, a spice rack, and a bed!!!!!!

*phew* I still have to get more. But I lost my job so I gotta be stingy with my money.

I needed an exhaust system bad as the first cat on the up pipe was about 1 month from granading into my turbo, the first one on the downpipe had a hole the size of an empty toilet paper roll. I was getting maybe 15mpg. This one sounds like a race car, soooo nice!!

not sure if you'll notice that much of a difference going from a 4 to a 4s
