Believe me when I tell you that I did not wanted to sell it but you have to do certain sacrifices in life to get better things and above all the things .... my main reason is that I'm buying a new house :D

I pretty much rebuilt her. She had sat for about 2.5 years and needed some fixin and love bad. When my ex left, I put all of my anger into wrenching on that car. I did most of the work myself except the flywheel and clutch install. A friend helped me install my springs everything else was moi. I sold her last month with 49k on the odometer and only $3,500 left on the loan. I couldn't afford both that car and my Subie and my Subie is so much more practical.
I want another Z some day.

Weirdo here, only 1 of the cars I miss was actualy mine! LoL The first one was my sister's 77 Thunderbird. I actually bought the car, my Mom paid for half and I the other, but I was only 14 so my sister's name was put on the car until she sold it before I got my license at 18. (I was supossed to get it, but she went behind our backs and had it sold and picked up before we knew anything about it. And I never saw a dime of my money, how hard would it have been to give my the $10 I paid for it when she got $700?!)
The next was my Ex-Husband's '40-something pick up, I love classic's. But we couldn't afford the work to fix it up like it needed since I insisted on buying a house!
The last one was my 1st car love! My 95 Eclipse, my 1st 5speed, hella flushed! Couldn't even fit a quarter on it's side under the front bumper! (for give my sounding like a car-tard here) It had big, wide rims with small tires, I'm sure ya'll know what I mean, I hope! LoL Loved my car!

I miss my '05 Torch Red Mustang GT, bought it Christmas of 2004 as gift to myself, driven it for almost 6 years and the car never had a problem. I miss the sound of the magnaflow exhaust and the brute power. Sold it because coz I need awd after being stuck on 2008 snowstorm in Seattle. But summertime was just awesome!
We part ways last 2008 and I bought my 08 wrx which later traded with my 2010 wrx.

Same here! I had an '08 Camry which I only miss because of the awesome gas mileage and the comfy ride. It was a good road trip car.
The car I miss the most is my 2001 Honda Accord Ex I bought it in Jul 04 and got rid of it in Sep 07. Several cross country trips and tons of trips back and forth from AL to FL. This car was definetly a beast though....minus those ugly ass rims!!!

I don't miss my old cars because they are still around. My first car is a parts car, my second car I sold to my parents, and my truck I still own.

Yes and no. I had hopes of paying it off, keeping it and making it my an "heirloom car." But then the divorce, moving, etc and lack of kids meant I needed to cut down on stuff.
The people who bought her are wonderful. They bought it as a surprise for their son who had been emailing me about the car for weeks. His parents and I did the deal without him knowing and I had him believing I was holding the car for him all along. They surprised him with it the Saturday before last. He is a straight A kid working two jobs and takes care of the car he's had for the last year. So while I may miss her, it was an honor to be a part of that.

Nice story. Mine got bought from a guy out of state and whose into construction, the car was my baby and it's kinda weird before we met with the buyer, the car didn't start, seems like it was choked but after several try and about 5 mins it finally did. I was in teary eyes when I handed my keys. I remember the week before it arrived the dealership, I could not literally sleep, I keep on looking at photos on the web, my plans to the car and now we part ways. Women are just emotional, I guess.

I was sad when I sold my '02 WRX because the guy I was selling it to I could tell was a douche, but I needed the bux so away it went. Found out a few weeks later he went all DORI DORI DORIFTUUU~ into a curb and fucked the car up pretty good.
I was also sad when I traded in my '00 RS for my '11 WRX. I did a lot to the car and I loved that car a whole bunch, but it was starting to show its age and I needed something more comfortable for my new job since I do a bit of traveling now. Every time I see a GC on the road I get a little sad, but then I put my right foot down and am all http://www.ctsubaru.com/forum/images/smilies/dance.gif.
