JNA '05 LGT Front Lip

I got my front lip today and the husband started installing it before I got home. I have to say I am not impressed with how it fits.

1. There is a 2" space at each side of the bumper that is lipless. I figured it would go all the way back.

2. Its pretty much exactly the same as the wrx lip

3. In the front if you look directly at the lip it looks like there is a gap in the center even though it is secured right up against the bumper. Almost as if it should have been pushed back farther except if you do that then the corners don't line up right or the sides.

Anyone else have a JNA lip? Thoughts? Feelings?

when i sold my ebay v-limited replica lip for 06-07 wrx's, the guy who bought it had an 05 LGT. he said it fits with very minimal modification.

maybe you should sell yours and purchase a different one? my replica lip was only 60$

It looks like from some of the pictures online that its supposed to sit further back. Only problem is when you do that then the corners barely stick out. I just wish I knew what it was supposed to look like. Then I could make a decision. How far is a lip supposed to hang out?

JNA's lips weren't very cheap when I looked. I know people buy lots of stuff from them, but I got my lip on ebay for mad cheap. Which is great b/c New England eats them for breakfast regularly...

We had to do a bit of fighting to get mine on well. Per Khanh, I suggest taking the bumper off to line it up easier.

He did take the bumper off. :-/ it was in the basement and JNA had a sale so it was only $100 for mine and $100 for the WRX one. we shall see.
