Hey Everyone,
Here is a little bit about my journey and all the fun to come. :) My love for Subaru's came because of a good friend of mine. I used to own a '01 Honda Accord that i thought was pretty darn awesome until winter hit. I can't tell you how many time i got stuck in my driveway when there was only a few inches of snow on the ground. Well, one day the weather dumped 2-3 feet of snow and if you could guess, i was stuck yet again. My friend decided to show me how amazing subaru's were, and with snow up to the hood of her car we back out of the driveway and hit up the town. Needless to say we were the only car on the road surrounded by a bunch of diesel truck with 4wd.
In June of 2010, after moving to Montana i decided enough with the stupid honda. After about a month of searching i bought my first Subaru. She was an '06 Subaru Impreza 2.5i, Red in color and completely stock.

Since i purchased her i have:
-upgraded to a hood with scoop
-STI Wing
-Front Lip (not currently on due to hitting 2 raccoons)
-upgraded stereo
-tinted windows
-STI front bumper
-new wrx headliner
-stock wrx boost gauges
-carbon fiber roof spoiler
-HID's
-STI catback

I still have yet to:
-Put my lowering springs on (gift for x-mas from hubby)
-put my new gold wheels/tires on
-put my front lip on
-build the STI engine (waiting on a few more parts to come in) and do the swap

Ok, so to begin my Journal we are starting off with trying to fix my a/c. Which thus far has been a big pain in my rear end. We have replaced the expansion valve, compressor, condenser, flushed all the lines, checked the fuse (all good), and recharged the a/c. Still no luck. When checking the high and low pressure we found that the low pressure is normal for about a min (a/c works then) but it shoots up to 150 and doesn't come back down. All i can say is we are extremely stumped as to what is wrong and even had 4 other Subaru Techs standing around my car baffled.

I am so excited!!! We are adding our 5th Subaru to the family this Wednesday.:banana:. Granted it will be my husbands car, i am still stoked. He will have to put some work into it (just like all the other 4 Subaru's we have) :lol: but we are getting it for a steal. Here is the link to it:

I know I haven't updated for a while on the progress of my car. But it is mainly because it is taking forever to do anything on it. But... Finally there isn't a gap in my wheel wells!! Today we installed my lowering springs and put on my hubby's BBS wheels. (only because he still hasn't painted my other 2 gold wheels :( ) We also got my windows tinted so now I don't feel like I am in a fish bowl. haha.

I am not quite sure. I still need to buy an ECU, longblock harness and a fuel pump controller. Unfortunately Erik will need to fix his car (the bearings are bad and has major knocking in his engine & replace his clutch) before we start on mine. All I hope is that it's done before the huge meet in September.

I am super excited!! :) Hopefully I will be allowed to help do the swap. (if he has enough patience to teach me) ;)

It is a decal, our friend owns a company called Dark Performance. About 2 years ago he was making these mud flaps, but the guy he was going through to make them was cutting corners and so they all started peeling :( Unfortunately the distributor refused to back up his products so they quit selling it. He has 1 extra set in the decals to redo my rear ones. It is just a matter of having time to get them redone.

O, ok! Ya I live on Monad so I am over at that intersection a lot. lol. I was probably going to drop my daughter off on my way to work. O btw they are in the making of getting another Subie Sunday meet together. I will let you know as soon as the details are released. Hopefully you can make it.

Yeah just keep me informed, our weekends aren't so bad now that I'm done with school for the summer.
The bridal shower was nice! I can't believe how close the wedding is getting.

That probably would have been the easiest/best way to do it, but i didn't have the money all at once to buy a wrecked one. :/

The only things i wont have to make it a complete swap are the transmission and brembo brakes. I am hoping later on down the road sometime I will have the $ to get them.
