Hello ladies! I am the happy owner of a 2005 CGM 2.5 RS. Would have loved to get an STI or WRX, but alas, college loan repayments are a b*otch. Grew up in Buffalo, went to RIT and now live in Rochester with my boyfriend. He has a 2005 SRR WRX :D

I haven't done much to it but it does have a Cobb axle back exhaust and eibach pro kit springs. Got rear ended a bit ago so I'm soon to be the proud new owner of a new back bumper (and I'm having the front done as well). Saving up for wheels next :p

If anyone knows a good (& cheap) photographer in the WNY region, I would love to have some (semi)professional pics taken.

Nothing special, but here they are

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out.

I managed to scrounge up a pic of the bf's car as well (it's his 2nd gf!). Took this at the New England Forest Rally - we're in the 12th picture down (I'm the one with the huge green purse!) http://rally.subaru.com/event_2009_maine_gallery1.html

What part of Buffalo? I grew up in Tonawanda and went to Kenmore East. Not on Roclife, but I've been in Rochester since 2000. I lived in Henrietta when I was going to RIT and now we live in Brighton. You didn't have a WRB STI by any chance? That's the only other girl that I used to see around Rochester with a Subaru. I know my BF got his Invidia from a guy in Roch who was friends with a girl who had an STI but I can't remember her name...

I went to RIT as well from 2001-2006, used to work in the Gameroom.

I had a bright orange Dodge Neon for most of college though, didnt get my 2nd scooby until 9/2005.

I went to SHA, knew a bunch of kids at Ken East, grew up near South Campus UB (a few blocks away).

Hm - I was a business major so I didn't get out much - we were the rejects over in building 12...

The orange neon is pretty cool - can't say I was in a much better place myself, I had a purple galant :p

Hoe did you end up in MA? I'll have to wave at you on our way up to ME next time ;)

lol yet another hilarity - I was a marketing major. COB looks VERY different now, of course, after we leave.

I came to mass after I graduated for the job market. Sure kicking myself now (unemp since Jan).

Oh man, another COB reject :)

That's ok I got a job right out of college, got laid off 3 months later and was unemployed for over 6 months. I'm a secretary in the OR at Strong so it's not like I'm putting my education to good use. I can barely pay my student loans every month :(

Would you move back for a job? I mean, not like Buffalo or Rochester have a better job market, but maybe for a change of scenery?

I would if it didnt involve leaving everything I have worked for... I have a really good network of contacts that I would LOSE, not to mention other things. And when you're in business, sometimes its all about who you know....

Sounds about right... I'm actually interviewing for a new job this week. Same U of R system, but better pay and a "supervisor" title. Maybe I can make that Management co-major work for me after all. When I originally took the job it was either wait it out for something related to my major or get in with a good "company" and work my way up to something decent. I'm glad I took the job and I've met a lot of cool people along the way who might come in handy later (or now!).

Well, best of luck to you in finding a job. If you're ever in the Buffalo/Rochester area, give a shout :)

We only did that day as well. The two previous years we went to day 2. What part of Maine is your boyfriend from?

He was born in Brewer/Hampden area, but his parents moved to Augusta a few years ago. They're starting to move back up north now, for good I think. We go visit a few times a year, it's such a beautiful state :D

Where is where you live in relation to Augusta?

Haha, I just looked up North Berwick on google maps, and yeah, you guys don't really count lol. The house that the boy grew up in was the same, big long dirt drive way with no close neighbors. I'm kind of hoping we move up there after he graduates in May, but he doesn't think there's much in the way of engineering up there. Either way we'll be close to at least one sets of parents, so it's all good.

We might be visiting up north the week before thanksgiving... maybe I'll spot one of you ladies driving around on my way there :)
