$3.00 from every ticket goes to Scoobies for Boobies. Pancakes are ALL YOU CAN EAT!! We need 10-12 volunteers if we can sell all 350 tickets. If you're able to volunteer or would like to purchase tickets, please PM either myself, xxthat girlxx or arlia11. And don't forget, we need volunteers in order for this to be successful!

Volunteer Info:

Volunteers need to arrive at 7:00 am the morning of. Portsmouth is a relatively central location for Mass, ME & NH.

We need people to do the following:

Greeter: Greet Guests as they arrive; fill balloons
Seater: Seat Guests; manage wait list, if applicable
Pancake Server: Serve pancakes from kitchen
Beverage Server: Serve beverages (coffee, soda, milk, juice)
Busser: Clear dishes and clean table

If you are able to volunteer, I will PM you with details about proper attire.

So how does this work? What are the tickets for? Do our patrons pay for food? Or are we trying to sell tickets to people eating in the restauraunt?

basically we pre-sell the tickets to people who are interested in coming. the restaurant will be open ONLY to those who purchased tickets. the tickets cost $5.00, $2.00 goes to applebees to cover costs of food and the other $3.00 goes to our charity. when you buy the $5.00 ticket, that gets you pancakes and coffee, oj or soda. applebees makes no profit off of this. however, we can't do it without the volunteers because applebees only provides a manager and someone to cook the food. we have to serve it, greet, seat & clean up the tables.

O I see, dam but two weeks is a short time to try and sell 350 tickets. Do we HAVE to sell that many tickets for them to do it or no? And I was going to say that it would be cool to try and persuade all the people doing the Kank Cruise that day to get them all to stop in and do breakfast before the meet but its an hour away from their meeting spot so it wont work.

oh no, they can only allow 350 people! even if just 10 show up thats $30 going to charity. i have this posted on nes too and im going to talk to sarah about nasioc to get interest going

just pancakes as far as food goes. they'll have coffee tea and juice though.

for $5.00 you can hehe i don't think volunteers get food cuz applebees doesn't really get a profit. i didn't ask if we get food though.

So is this a definite thing even if you dont get all 12 volunteers? I just want to know before I start passing out flyers that it wont be cancelled last minute, you know?

We need 12 volunteers if 350 go. So For now we're getting close to good with volunteers. If Jessica see's we're starting to get close to selling 350 tickets, I know she'll tell us and we'll round up volunteers.

Ok good. So i will be posting up flyers all over downtown today... I work right here so its convinient lol.

I'm thinking that instead of handing out tickets to every single person, I will make a list of names and how many people are in their party so when people come in i'll just check them off. It's easier that way since this is wide spread.

things are reallllly starting to come along! hayley bought 6 tickets, a woman at work is going to buy 4, then there's someone on NES interested in 3 tickets and there may be a few other people who want to purchase at the door. YAY!!

tix are being sold beforehand (it's better to purchase them in advance) but we are selling them at the door. i prefer advance so i have an idea of how many people are showing up. after i PM you let me know if you wanna pre purchase your tickets.
