hey guys my name is forrest and im a texas boy trying to make my way through college and life. my dad works for subaru so i've always been a subie fan. i bought my first subaru 2 or 3 years ago. it is a 96 imprezal l 2.2 that i've coverted to a 2.2rs. down the road i am going to boost or swap but i wanted it to look good b/c it was looking horrible on the outside. i got an amazing deal on it though. the previous owner was an older lady. it had 87xxx miles on it with a perfect interior and new tires. only thing wrong was paint and a normal tune up. i picked it up for 750 bucks!!!! since then it has been my baby. now i hit a deer about 5 months ago and a week after i hit the deer i had everything done. i painted it, put new radiator in, new hood, bumper, bumper beam, lights, grille all by myself. im very handy at doing and making things myself. let me know what yall think :)

haha thanks guys :) i really outdid myself on the car i love it so much. and im so pissed the deer stole that badge from me :/ i need to make another one. but glad to be apart of the forum

Ahhh thanks so much. I didn't think I could any of that stuff till I tried it. I'm so happy the path I've taken for the car. Deft one of a kind and my custom work :))) still not done with it either. Got the 20mm rsb coming and my friend got me a grounding kit. Plenty more mods to come

I made a very similar pig like that for my friend Mikey. It had devil horns and mad eyebrows too. :)

wow nice work, it must have been a long project to get it from what it looked like purchase time to now! How long did it take? And im sure it was cheaper to do it this way then buying an RS as is. I was looking them up and this gen rs cost more than the bug eye rs's!! More demand I guess....

well i didnt know much about this year when i got it i just needed a car. then i started seeing the potential and i was like hell yea time to start working haha. it took a little while to find someone to swap me a hood then he gave me the trunk then the deer destroyed that so in a week (due to having to wait on parts) all by myself i had the car sanded, painted, new parts installed along with koyo radiator, bumper, fogs, everything in the front. then painted the rims a couple weeks after that when i had some money. only 5 bucks to paint the rims haha since i had all the sandpaper and the paint went a long way. but yea deff cheaper this gen rs is so expensive.
