well this is my first black friday that i get to try the shopping thing. i have been in retail for a long time and always wanted to try it. i've never been able to request off and actually get it until this year. wish me luck :) enjoy your day with your families

hehe. I had ham on turkey day, but it was pretty nice anyway. I got to see my little nephew (er, step-nephew? I'm an only child, and he's my step-sister's kidlet) and he's a lot more interesting now that he's 17 months old :D I bought a loaf of gluten free bread to sample (since I dislike it most of the time and just forego bread completely, I still haven't settled on a favorite) and found a GF version of Oreo cookies (yay!!!) so I had a couple goodies for the occasion that helped me feel more comfortable around the gluten-eaters in my family.

Happy thanksgiving weekend ladies! I don't know about you, but it's going to be more difficult than usual to drag my butt into the office early tomorrow now that I've spent 4 days away from it :D
