ALSO, girls from NJ and Long Island and anywhere who wants to come to Wicked Big Meet (girls in CA we'll pick you up from the airport!). I highly suggest you plan for this event and get involved in our tent. I live pretty close to this event and will do everything I can to let you stay at my place.

Last year we had a dunk tank to raise money for charity and we sponsored the kids tent. It was a fun and rainy time. WBM last year was our first "event" as a booth at an event so I hope to be better this year.

I had an idea for at least one thing we can have at the tent.

Since our line is "We'll wrench your heart out" maybe we can raffle off a few 20/50 piece socket or compound wrench sets. Maybe we could get a local Autozone, Sears or Home depot to donate a couple.

Those sets are a good idea but a bit pricey for us to give away and I'm not sure how we'd ask nicely for them as a donation. Maybe we could buy one socket set raffle it off. If we can get a wireless internet set up there we could get people to sign up and everyone who does gets entered to win the socket set. I believe Margo had access to a pink tool kit but I don't think we can buy just one.

Also, I've seen some really tiny wrenches (the one I saw was a 4mm Snap-On I believe). And of course I thought it was adorable and thought it would make good jewelry (I know, I'm a wierdo). Maybe we could make some fun jewelry to sell?

OH and (long story) a random old man made me a jewelry box/ring holder out of a 36mm craftsman socket. It's pretty cool actually.

I don't think we have enough "market" for things like that? Unless guys would buy them for their girlfriends...

Make a boost gauge out of cardboard and the more money someone puts in the bucket the more boost. Boost could be in dollars 500$ max boost or target goal. Once the max boost is reached then I think one of you should rap on the mic. The money can go towards website payments.

We were thinking about maybe making our way to Boston since I've never been in MA, but we're not sure yet. I would head straight to Boston if that's the case. It may be cheaper to stay just outside Boston. There is ALL sorts of stuff to do in Boston.

Check out NESIC (http://nesic.nasioc.com) closer to the event if you want to join a caravan into the event on Sunday morning. Saturday night weather permitting there may be a "pre-meet." I'll keep you girls posted on that.

WBM is at Wachusett Mountain and that's pretty scenic and stuff. It's in the middle of no where. So not much "social" stuff to do once the event ends.

We will be staying at the Super8 in Leominster also (because they are CHEAP!!) so look for a silver 04 STi with a wrx wing and gunmetal wheels. We'll be getting there sometime friday night, the week before is my bf and I's anniversary (which we won't really get to celebrate thanks to me having class that Saturday & Sunday) so we're making WBM a mini vacation as well. I know your fiance is a photographer, so I'm hoping we can tag along and get some nice shots of the subies! Looking forward to meeting another subiegirl!

Today was a GREAT day for Subie Girls!! The calendars, tshirts and tank tops were a hit!
