Bry's 'semi' built '99 RS

I figured I'd post this here too since I feel the need to make up for not making one of these anywhere for my old Subie.

This is my second Subie, replacing my 'old' '06 Impreza 2.5i which has been totalled, not by me. (it's a rather long story which I won't bore you with.)

The old beast at the NER Stafford Springs Rally-x in '08 I believe. I actually had a Subie Girl riding shotgun haha.


Now on to the new beast.
It's a 1999 STM GM6 RS with roughly 107k on the clock and counting and about 23k on the motor since a full rebuild.

Pic from the day I picked her up, there was a meet just around the corner from Vermont Sports Car and we were lucky enough to get a tour of their shop while we were there. :D

That must be a fun little car! I've been thinking about getting the sally innovations light bar, but mounting 4 fogs on top of it instead of the two on the bottom. Maybe when you get yours I can come look at it to see if its possible? :D

You sir got it all. The heads were actually built by COBB (stupid rare since they are discontinued) and the only thing that isn't COBB in the heads is the delta cams :)

And screw you it's not the boondocks... go to the north east kindom of VT... that sir is boondocks :lol:

I never even knew COBB made N/A heads. hrm. They're the Delta 2k grinds right?

Edit yea you have a point, I was up hunting about a half hour from the Canadian boarder a few years back. It is pretty boondock up there :lol:

From the look of the crease along the side of your "RS", I am guessing it was just some random drunk driving a 3/4 ton full size pick-up or SUV ?

I have no idea what the other idiot what driving, they blew past me (it was about 1:30am) at about 110-120ish and dove into my lane, I swerved to miss them, clipped grass and slid into the median and bounced off the guardrail at about 75mph and sent me shooting across 3 lanes before I got her back under control, I did manage to miss the barrier on the other side. I don't have full coverage apparently (even though when I started the policy I told them I wanted full) So I'm paying out of pocket to fix the damage.

Yea man, it's worse because I've only got about 2k of the 3-4k I'm going to need that I can spend right now so unfortunately I kinda have to drive her as she is for a while. It's pretty depressing to look at.
