Hey ladies! I'm new to this forum but not to subies! My family has always had subies my entire life growing up and I've been the owner back in the day of a turbo 92 Loyale, and a 92 SVX. My family has had 2 90/91 legacys, 02 Impreza OBS, 99 Legacy Outback, a few Loyales here and there, and even a Brat at one time! haha. Been into cars forever. Had a brief stint in zeee german kind (owned over 20 VWs and Bimmers) but came back to the glorious AWD =P
My current new obsession is to built a unique Forester. Picked up a nice clean 01 Forester 5spd in Blue Ridge Pearl with the intention to drop an STI setup when the time comes. Until then I will be lowering it on WRX wagon struts and springs (maybe), stiffening up the susp with a Whiteline swaybars, tint, getting lower panels painted body color, Borla header/exhaust is going in next Tues, and some other stuff that I can't think of right now. It's gonna be fun but Sooooooo difficult finding anything aftermarket for this generation besides JDM. Time to get creative! =)
Our other vehicle is an PSM 02 Bugeye WRX with a full STI swap. Engine, interior, susp etc.... It's stage 2 tuned with Tim Bailey and a friggin blast. So nice, that my 2 yo screams "WeEEEEeeeeeeeeeee!" the second she gets in. lol! It's the other half's daily driver but I get 2 days a week of bugeye STI bliss =P
