What sort of paint is this ? Lacquer ?

Any particular reason why you aren't wearing a face mask / respirator ?

Any plans for "block sanding", buffing or using clear coat ?

It seems to me that most DIY paint jobs these days are done in polyurethanes that leave a very glossy looking finish, although given the hazards in using these paints, I guess I can understand why someone might not want to use these paints for their own personal use.

I do like the colour.

You should be wearing a mask, hate too be a dick but 50$ will help you down the road. I lived and learn about that and I can tell you it literally takes 10 seconds to pass out. Nice cloud comes in.. you're like huh? on the floor you go. Other than that I love the color :)

my brothers shop is pretty big and well ventilated so wasnt too concerned about just finishing up a bumper

tein s-tech front springs are in, did em the other day, have the back ones waiting to be installed but waiting on a part from subaru to come in.

at this moment im currently working on slowly but surely taking out the silencer crap
finishing up painting my spoiler and doing the finishing touches on my car (its been raining alllllll week so couldnt get much done)
and i cannot decide what color i should paint my set of konig wheels ... i think a flat gold would be sick or stay stealthy and do flat black ... but my current wheels are already flat black.... hmmmm ??

my nitrous needs to be rewired, she isnt squeezing and i need to do a boost leak test because with better suspension fmic 50 shot nitrous catless up pipe and down pipe and decent(actually, a pretty good launch) launch knocking off only half a second does not make any sense to me

tomorrow 2/12/10 second midnight mayhem of the year

since my last post i did a boost leak test and came to find that i was indeed leaking around 7 pounds of boost :X (yikes)
after painting the pipes black (i couldnt resist) i fixed the boost leak (or so it seems/i hope)
the nitrous also got rewired, before it was set up to engage WOT but lassst midnight mayhem after having horrible runs we inspected it and sadly found out that it was not engaging at all :X (sad but good in a way) the fog light switch was the button to engage the it, what a crappy place for it to be, not only do you have to guess and pray that you've pushed the right button but being so petite id rather have my hand on the steering wheel instead of poking away at magic buttons that do nothing !
so i got a shift knob with a nitrous button on it, love ittttt
also put in a new alternator and fuel filter

i hope tomorrow goes well!

put my hks bov back on, now i can change my bovs just like shoes ;)

Yeah I hear you, my ACT HD Street Disc was pretty hard during traffic, I am guessing the Exedy Twin Disc is a little bit harder than the ACT. Atleast your getting huge muscles in your left leg :lol:

actually its suppose to have the same/or similar pedal feel as a stocker i think what kills my leg is the touchy feel-y-ness of it stuck in a situation like that

i have no problem driving it daily though, got used to it right away, but if i switch from my srt4 to my subie or vise versa stalling is usually involved somewhere down the line :(

Even though you lost nearly 4 tenths on your initial reaction time, you were roughly a 1/2 second quicker to 60 feet and just walked away from that point on. No contest.

hopefully i can break into the 12's by the end of this month
on my last run of the night i reached 110mph, but my 60 ft was horrible so overall time wasnt good

How big do you plan on going? :devil: I've heard awesome things from the DOM 2.5 XT-R Turbos. It's not a huge turbo, yet it produces some serious results.

The smoothness was something i noticed right away, the pedal feel is not bad its the engagment that really kills ya in traffic just because of the fact that you have to be so precise , but thats also the good thing about it because when its time for her to grab she grabs :) on the street awd with a twin disc ftw, for the drag strip it can hold a lot more than your average clutch so you dont have to worry about replacing it so often .
