Ski/snowboard meet- gunstock

I'm not sure if any of you are into skiing & riding... But I'm trying to gather a little Subie crew for Jan 24th @ Gunstock... PM me if you wanna come meet us! :p Just figured I'd share on here :)

Sunday Jan 24th. GUNSTOCK. It is closeby & cheap. Figured it'd be easier to get a crew together this way.

Gunstock Stats:
-From Manchester, it is about a 1 hour drive.
-Lift Tickets for that specific date are $66 standard, but www.liftopia.com will most likely give you $20 off. (GREAT website!)
-In Manchester, we would meet at The Sports Authority on South Willow at 8:00 AM.

Everyone else can just meet us up there around 9:30 am!

Oh, and of course I'll have my camera... & you should bring yours too!

Im going to tell Ed about this, He just got a board and is DYING to put it to good use! If I wasnt so useless just standing there watching everyone I would go but I'd rather not freeze my a**. And I think I'd just tumble down the mountain if I even attempted :lol:

Nahh I haven't posted it on My Subie... I've come to the realization that it's reeeeeeally difficult to get people to commit to this kinda thing... LoL...

Beers & burgers on a Sat night is 1 thing, but getting everyone to meet up @ the slopes & spend a chunk of change to ski/ride is def a little different, :lol:

It's okay though, hopefully I'll be able to at least get a mini crew to go up! :banana:

If I could snowboard or ski I'd go! But I've never really done either on an actual mtn.

How did this go? Ed went but he woke up wicked late and then got lost thanks to google maps lol, so he missed all you guys! haha, he went boarding alone for a few hours...

I know! I should have gotten his phone number so I could have at least texted him where to meet us. I wasn't sure what happened... but we saw his STi when we were leaving, he parked kinda near us. LoL

Overall it was wicked fun, but unsuccessful in terms of getting everyone to go. Sooo many peeps bailed last minute. :rolleyes:

Still fun though! Next time will be a bigger turnout- I'm DETERMINED! :lol:

I rarely get to get my board on with a group. I'm usually stuck being the lone boarder. :(
