Valantine's day I spotted a Silver WRX ('02 to '07) with Carbon Fibre look trunk and hood with PINK wheels in front of the Natick "Auto Zone" parts store. I was west bound on Rt 9 stopped at the Oak Street traffic light, roughly 75 Yards from this car so I can't be more specific about the car. Does the car belong to someone on this board, maybe ?

Oh, and last week I spotted Arlia11 and Nick driving East bound on Rt 9 in Framingham Around ~ 2:30 PM by the Prospect Steet traffic lights. I am thinking it might have been Tuesday ? Not sure. At any rate it was Arlia11's car and Nick was driving.

Yes, those model years are correct for the Impreza..

My understanding is the First generation Legacys were from 1989 - ~1994.
The Second generation Legacys were from 1995-1999.
The Third generation Legacys were from 2000-2004.
The Fourth generation Legacys were from 2005-2009.
and the Fifth generation Legacys are from 2010+

Its a little confusing as what with the Legacy being build here in the United States as well as Japan we (the United States) are sometimes a year behind Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Spotted 2002 WRB bugeye. You flashed me several times with your head lights, I gave you the finger. I was in a black 2006 Sti with black rims. If that was you, that was me.

Spotted 2002 WRB bugeye pulled out of Clarkson University.I am curious. How on earth can you tell the differences between a 2002 and a 2003 WRB "Bugeye" WRX ?

Other than a change in the shade of yellow paint used, I am not really aware of any visible differences between an '02 and an '03.

Spotted a red 2.5RS on rt7 in VT in New Haven with a black hood (couldn't tell if it was carbon or not), but a girl was driving... I took a double take to try and get a better look and failed, I was too worried about the cop on my butt :lol:

No exact dates but there seems to be quite a few bajas lurking in VT. There's at least a few all black ones...two or THREE more yellow ones (which makes me happy) and a silver and a red/maroon one....

Also, in the Burlington area saw a Maroon-ish Imprezza...unsure if a WRX...unsure of the year...only thing I caught was the transformers autobots insignia on the back of the car where the Subaru thing should be...I wanna know who that is! Don't even remember the state of the plates :(

i spotted in approx. 2 miles yesterday:

4 silver legacys around the same year as mine
1 black legacy around the same year as mine

i went from the dr's office to a pharmacy down the street. saw one in the parking lot at the dr's office, passed one of the silver legacys on the way to the pharmacy, saw one parked on the side of the road, and i saw one in the pharmacy parking lot. then as i was leaving, a black one drove by.

thats the thing i hate about the legacys... they are pretty but everyone owns one, and if they dont own one for reasons like we do they are OLD people. they like the awd or something...

i keep seeing an '08 legacy ltd in plaistow, nh. same color as mine, has the hood scoop but no spoiler and it makes me so mad cause they will be coming at me on the other side of the street and i get so excited to find its the same middle aged housewife with her toddlers in the back.

hey hey....just cuz theres toddlers that doesnt mean anything...i have a booster in the back of mine when my kiddo isnt in the car...it just makes me cooler than everyone else cuz i dont drive a mini van...and im a housewife and 30 so kinda middle aged, not much though!

and i wasnt saying there is anything wrong with being a middle aged housewife with kids in the back of your subie... im just saying that this one particular case is upsetting to me cause i get so excited to actually see someone who appears to have a nice done up car and next thing i know its someone who doesnt care what it is as long as it picks up the kids from school and the groceries. thats all i was saying.

well i getcha.....just seemed like a little bashing on the wife with kid seats in the back...i am so far from being the susie homemaker wife....and i can understand about people just driving cuz its a car, thats all around here, although, it seems more and more are coming around (which i like VERY much) like i said earlier, im just cooler than most cuz i have a subie! and know and understand my baby...its my other kid... no hard feelings!! :)

So I'm 33 and my son is almost 13 so no booster seat for me cause I've been there & done that..but when I roll up to the skatepark or wherever to pick up my litte dude his friends are like hey Shawn's mom..u have a wicked sweet subie! I wish my mom didn't have a stupid mini van! My little dude is like whatever mom don't let it to to your head.....but can I have your car when I can drive? YEAH RIGHT!:p

We're not planning on kids, but if we do have one, we aren't going to get a minivan and we'll be rolling around in the STi or the LGT. We'll have the most bad ass cars at all the PTA meetings :D And they'll have exhausts, too!

SO I AM VERY DISCOURAGED. TODAY I WENT TO VISIT MY BOYFRIEND AT WORK, VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE IN TILTON, NH. I WENT TO GET HIM LUNCH AND WHILE I WAS GONE A GIRL IN A MID '90s LEGACY WAGON WITH SUBIEGIRLS VINYL CAME IN. HE TRIED TO ASK HER ABOUT IT AND BEFORE HE EVEN HAD TO CHANCE TO SAY THAT HIS GIRLFRIEND WAS A SUBIE GIRL AS WELL SHE STATED THAT HER BOYFRIEND HAD AN STI AND LIVED IN RI, AS IF HE WAS TRYING TO PICK HER UP. ALL HE DID WAS ASK IF SHE WAS A SUBIEGIRL. NOTHING MORE.
SHE WAS GONE BEFORE I GOT THERE AND HE WAS OFFENDED BECAUSE HE WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE CONVERSATION AND HE GOT AN EAR FULL OF UNNECESSARY ATTITUDE.

It was probably close to 2004/5 I had my first car which was an 01 cougar coupe and i was talking to him about putting a millenium wide body kit on it....then my boyfriend crashed the car around a tree and killed that idea :( He was always wicked nice though and very knowledgeable. I saw sams subie on the mass pike a couple of weekends ago....

we were coming back from Jersey and i was sound asleep...my bf woke me up to point it out. I thought i was cute-hes NOT a car guy but kinda gets how into it I am so he goes along with it. He was like " i couldnt tell you anything about that car except i bet it hauls! at least is sounds like it does!" haha

You came up from behind very quickly and stayed behind me. You passed and smiled and waved. I had my head pitched forward and smiled.

We both exited at Kenilworth Road off I-287.

You ended up getting off of Westchester Avenue West and onto the Hutchinson River Parkway going south toward NYC.

Sorry about the lack of enthusiasm on my part. As of late going to work, I have had many chuckle-heads trying to engage me to race in every kind of car conceivable regardless of the traffic density.

Next time, STFD. :) I like to check out other enthusiasts' cars and see what they have done to theirs and get some ideas myself. :love:

I would like to say that if you're in the general area and have time on the weekend, I would like to look at your car. Seriously. No, this is not a pick-up. I want to see the car.

Most of the few WRX/STI's that are around me if they are modified are done so with respect to a loud exhaust, wheels and tires, HID's and maybe a few other things. :(

Anywho, very nice ride!!!

I keep seeing a silver I think Wrx? Pink badge and CF hood. Once in Worcester and once in Leicester. The first time she didn't see me or didn't wave back. In Leicester she waved. Anyone else seen her around?

soo my friends have texted me saying they have seen me places but it hasnt been me and last night i was walking out of a bar onto park ave and a bugeye wagon silve with pink wheels drove by me so there is a look alike my any idea who it is?!
