When I turned 16, I got my first job. The promise in my house to me and my brother was that that when we got your first job that my parents would by our first car. I had my job for 3 months they dad went out and got my car. I had no say is what it was or whether I wanted it or not. I guess that was appropriate since I wasnt paying for it. I ended up with a '98 Chevy Cavalier. I never really hated my little chevy, it was just never what I wanted.

My boyfriend got his Subaru in July 2008: a 2005 WRB WRX. I was in love. I watched/helped with a lot of the modifications to date ranging from his (newest) APS DR725 Front Mount Intercooler all the way back to his (earliest) Lightwerkz 105mm Angel Eye Kit and Hella Supertones. I became a subie addict when I was never into cars before. Now I cant help myself. I constantly search the roads for other subarus when I'm sitting passenger.

About November of 2008 my cavalier started to go. The serpentine belt snapped and it cracked a pipe and caused coolant leaks after the system was flushed and yadda yadda. Problems on top of problems. It came to the point where it was no longer worth the repairs. So I started shopping for a new car... a subaru.

Being a full time student and a part time worker, my income is limited and thus my choice of cars was limited to a specific price range. I had to find the right balance between car payment and car insurance. It took me months to find something. I lucked out when I found my baby in November 2009: a 2006 RBP 2.5i. I couldnt be more happy with it. :D

My boyfriend got me Rally Armor Mudflaps (grey) and Hella Supertones for Christmas. I actually have time to both of them on the car this week now that it's warm enough.

I have several ideas for what's to come but we'll see what pans out for the next few months. (Damn school taking up all my time *shakes fist*).
I know for sure that the next bit to go in is my Lightwerkz 95mm Angel Eye Kit since it's already in the mail. :)

pictures coming soon...

congrats on the new subie & watch out for the mod bug :)

lol thanks for the heads up but it is far too late for me.
I think the mod bug is kinda like mono. when my boyfriend got it, I got it too because we're around each other all the time... and then it's always with you.

Mono! LMAO So true! When I 1st realized my husband had added mods (air intake and sway bars) to his RS I flipped! Then I was like what can I do to my car to make it what I want?! Just like mono! Now I have to wait for the money! I also can't stop thinking baout what to do to his RS as with little cash flow my L can't be as modified as I woud like, I can live with just a few until I get my new car next year!

Anyways, have fun turing your car into a realy heart breaker! (as if it isn't already! haha)

I can only dream about all the mods I want right now. The money is always the problem. :p my car will be pretty much the same until I get my degree and I cant even wait.

but thanks. I'll def keep having my fun. I hope you have a blast continuing to mod your car aswell. :)
