Sooo what we thought was just a cracked ball joint, turned out to be a broken spring, cracked ball joint, and soemthing wrong w/ the hub....

Sooo I have two options:
1) buy an Outback Front Drivers side Spring and a hub or spindle....

2) take the wrx struts/springs we have and put those on, which will lower it down a bit. Only thing is I need the Strut Assembly for the rear from a wrx wagon, cuz the sedan one's won't fit properly on the back....

Sooooo.... If anyone has a:
96-99 Outback Drivers side spring and hub

or

04-05 wrx wagon rear strut assembly

PLEASE let me know!

Ive been searching all over the forums and no one seems to have a complete set of the strut assembly.... Tx!

I have my 00 RS driver side rear strut/spring assembled still from when I swapped out suspension. About 110k miles on it though.

It came out of a sedan though. Not sure if the wagon and sedan suspension are the same for the older models.

If you want it, it's all yours.

edit - looked quick and the struts for outback and RS are the same, but the springs are different.

Tx for trying! But ya I'd have to replace all 4 w/ the RS ones if I was to do that, same w/ the wrx ones. But I found an outback strut assembly at a local LKQ, so Ima just go with that, Plus it'll be less work for Ed to replace the one broken one instead of replacing all four, on top of replacing the wire harnesses, and the MAF sensor that he's going to be doing this weekend as well ....
