Well, I finally got the time to write a journal. So where shall I begin......It all started when I went to the NYC Auto Show and saw the WRX back in the days. I loved the looks, the hood scoop, and the turbo'ed power boxer engine. That was my goal for me to get that car when I graduate college. Well, my friends sure heard enough "WRX this and Subaru that" that they could tell you every feature of the car till their face turned blue! My frist car was a 1986 Camaro with a carb *No fuel injection->whats that lol?!?!*, t-tops that leaked, and no A/C!! So everyone who posts about driving in the snow with the stock tires on the STi, I know what your talking about, try it with an old Camaro!! So as you can see I couldn't wait to get my hands on a NEW car. Well, then came the big one.....the STi right there, unveiled at the NYC Auto Show! I drooled at the car as it spun around and around! I was set on getting that car no matter what! So then came the hurdles of saving, fixing the Camaro, and obviously living the college life. Well, Junior year came around and I was all happy, thinking it was time for me to get the STi, I thought I had enough money, and then it smack me upside the head when I saw with the money I had to put down, how much the monthly payments would be! I was so upset that I didn't get the STi, that I had to have something with AWD! So I bought a R/C Nitro Powered Subaru WRC car, and got a STi body, and painted the color I wanted: Black! Well, I saved and then finally on May 2005, I graduated college, and I had the money I needed to get the STi, and in the end of May 2005 (05/23/2005) I was the proud new owner of a 2005 Subaru OBP STi!!! It was great, a car with A/C, AWD, and enough balls to the wall power that I dreamed about. I named her Black Betty from the song by Ram Jam. Then came this little bug that bite me *mod bug* and I was hooked on buying a new part for the car every month! So without further jibber jabber, here are the pics!!

06/03/06 - Tuned at XX-Tuning in CT by Doug from Topspeed on Dynopack Dyno (Readings are in 5th gear pulls) with the Cobb Accessport Version 1.
- 317.8whp & 421.4wtq Pump Gas 93 Octane & Meth 60/40 Tune (Distilled Water/Meth mix) Conservative Tune
- 285.4whp & 352.2wtq Pump Gas 93 Octane Tune

10/16/08 - Tuned at XX-Tuning in CT by Chris from EFI Logics on Dynopack Dyno (Readings are in 5th gear pulls) with the Cobb Accessport Verison 2.
- 402whp & 461wtq Pump Gas 93 Octane & Meth 60/40 Tune (Distilled Water/Meth mix) Conservative Tune
- Had a boost "smoothing" issue with my Blitz SBC ID-3 boost controller, on the road tune the unit smoothed it all out, car should be around a 440whp car now, and maybe 470-480wtq. Car runs like OEM with balls to the wall power.

Went to Lime Rock Park, CT on June 22nd and 23rd, 2007. Here are some pics. The car had the Chargespeed Ver1 Lip kit on, as you can tell I replaced the sides and front end with the Ings+1. The front lip was chipping and looked horrible, paint job was bad on it. Enjoy!

Heres the APS 70mm CAI wrapped with Copper Heat wrapping and the Gold Reflective Heat Barrier Film. It came out really really nice. This setup is def way better than nothing at all, you can tell by holding it, this setup will def keep all the air nice and cool! I will be doing the same method on the FMIC piping. Girodisc 2-piece Rear Rotors. They are light, and very high quality. Plus its pretty cool they come with directional vanes for cooling. Girodisc even went a step further and labeled the rotors for you so you know which side they go on! Just incase so you won't mix it up and have them installed wrong and turn your rotors into a freaking oven:)!

And this is what I picked up from Billy today. BBS rims in a "time attack" style with Kuhmo Ecsta V710's (245/45/17). I plan to run these in my next track session, hopefully get a couple of track days from them and then I will replace them for a nice set of fresh R-compound rubber.

One to the stock heads/cams, enjoy this while it lasts. Dropped off the heads last night at HeadGames. Dave is excited to get these heads done. He should start the work next Monday (he has all the parts ordered), and then it should be done two weeks from then.

Dave was also surprised how CLEAN my valves were. He said my engine was running really healthy. He took the cams off in 2 mins on both sides, everything came apart easy. Thats the truth that my tune was great and that I took really good care of the motor. Here are some more pics:

Here is something I was working on. With the help of Gary my welder, we were able to get this to hold in place. Tough part was the different materials between the rod and piston, which doesn't make it easy to weld those different properties together. I plan on making more in the future:)! I have other ideas for the different stock parts I will get back once my engine is all done.
