Im not sure what factory specs for a WRX are, but why are you putting coilovers on if you're just going to put it back to factory alignment? Take advantage of every aspect of your new suspension ;)

I thought WRXs only had camber and toe. Did they upgrade that in 07? Or do the coilovers add caster?

No castor will change with camber, but it is not independently adjustable. Unless you turn your camber plates and use them to adjust castor instead of camber.

And the STi has all three independently adjustable iirc?

Nope it's the same as the WRX, at least on the GD's it may be different for GR's.
OP: What width tires are you running? I run -3.5 front camber -1.5 rear, 0 toe all around on 245/40/18's for my street set up and love it. I get a tiny bit more wear on the front tires if I don't rotate them but I go through tires so fast anyway that it's not an issue.

Stock will be much closer to 0, more like -.5. The setting you'll want to run depends on what kind of driving you're going to be doing. I usually run about -1.5 or so on the street to keep the tires from wearing weird. Plus it's more negative than stock to give me some good front traction. When I go to the track though, I set it to more like -2.5.
There are lines on the camber plate to set it to, so just make sure they match up on both sides and you should be good!

I've got plates in the front and plannin on bolts in the rear for the time being. gonna be on a set of 04 stock sti struts and a ground control sleeve style coilover kit. I plan on having my guy (I <3 having a tech that won road racing championships at my disposal :D) set up the plates for a couple of different settings with different colored markings on the plates. I'd like to be able to adjust it while at events. Things are gonna change from factory as the ride height should change a fair bit with coilovers. Find an alignment shop with a car guy that works there(ask local scca/nasa folk ;) ) Offer him a 6er of some fine beer to set ya up a few different settings on the front camber plates. I'd keep the rear as close to spec as possible. You may look into corner weighting the car as well to get the most out of the coilovers adjustablilty.
