So I go to the tax collectors office yesterday to get my plate customized only to find out after waiting 45 mins that the letters I wanted to use were already taken. As I left I couldn't decide if I was more upset for waiting so long or more upset that my fantasy plate was already in use. So I go home to try and investigate online what type of car my fantasy plate is already in use with and find out I could have saved 45 minutes by looking it up online via tax collectors website!!! (dumbass)...maybe you guys can give me some ideas for next year... my original letters were going to be AMG LOL ....

HAHA i like the NOT HIS one. I think it's clever cause countless times have i heard the phrase, "oh she's drivin her man's car" and it's like uuuuhhh NO. But of course i'd kinda feel bad if i got "NOT HIS" since I'm married and both of us drive the STi.

Corny story: last night i was walking from the grocery out to the car and Gunther was parked out in BFE...an EVO came in an paid Gunther a little visit and ended up parking two rows away. Well, by the time the EVO parked i was at my car unloading groceries, the girl driver got out of the EVO. She just sat steady staring at me. And i was thinkin, "yeah this is mine!" LOL...but i really didn't know what she was thinkin so i didn't say anything and was too tired to start a conversation. But that's when clever license plates come in handy is guess is the point of the story.

My hubby is always driving my STI so I really like the idea of NOT HIS it is simple and to the point. I would get special plates but they are expensive. I had some on my Caliber, we called it the Calibus, it was yellow and was the kid mobile for shows.

Nope, it's gone through and I'm seeing more and more of them every day. People are reduced to calling each DMV to see if they still have the old plates available-- but for a custom plate you're stuck with the orange-ness. Sucks. :unamused:
