Today sucked, I got soooo excited that I was gonna clean my engine bay for a car show i'm entered in tomorrow. I get done and find that my car is leaking oil and that all the oil in front of my house is probably me and not from the crapbox cars that take my spot sometime. I check it and it's literally below the minimum mark :eek:. So I went and bought more oil even though i'm really low on cash because I was sick last week and couldn't work. Car payments coming up, oh and I have harmonic noise coming from my worn down and warped rotors which need to be replaced as well as the pads, was quoted $400 which is good compared to the 1k dealerships charge, but I do not have that money now. And to top it off I come home and someone had broken into our house. It's creepy because nothing is missing but the garage door was open lights were on and doors were open. We're all pretty ocd so we always shut and lock everything and turn lights off. Now i'm afraid either someone can easily get into our house or it's haunted. Oh and a bonus i'm home alone right now. Yay.

Hopefully the leak isnt coming from anything too major. And that is a really good quote for new rotors and pads.

About the house.... I would reinforce the doors by placing one of those sliding locks on or something, and go around and lock all your windows.... Im wicked OCD about that stuff too, I always feel like theres someone in my house lol, but this thing was built back in the early 1900's so its prob just haunted! haha....

It looks like the oil is coming from where you drain it out. And yeah i'm gonna get those bars that you can put on windows and sliding doors. The car show was pretty good, there was an nsx that had me drooling, i'll post pics when I can.

Bad O-ring or crush washer. Technically you're suppose to replace those every oil change but you can get away with it.

Don't feel to bad about the house, someone was trying to break into my house this weekend. Miny (Pitbull I just bought) was freaking out growling and barking and I had no idea why. My back door is a glass door that I don't lock. The guy was trying to get in by wedging shit into the door(Could of just opened it), I come down stairs and I saw him. Miny was lashing out at him, I turn the deck lights on open the door and ask him what he wants and why he's breaking into my house. He told me "This is my house bro" I said "No this is my house man, I already called the cops" So he tries to force the door open with me holding it and Miny lashed out at him and he acts like a moron about it. "Does that dog bite?" I was like yeah, then pretty much said I'm going to go get my pistol, I'll be back. Time I came back he was gone but left his shoes and glasses:lol: Police come and I had to file a report but I guess he tried to break into my hot neighbors house the other night. I think he was high on drugs to be honest. Funny if you scream most people want you to shut up and will do it by killing you. If you just talk to the people they have no idea what they're doing or no reason why. I'm just lucky I bought Miny because I know for sure I would have shot that guy if he was in my house walking around.

On a side note, I've already had plans on replacing all the exterior doors in my house with solid cherry. I think it will look good (for those of you that know/seen my house) and add the extra protection with a dead bolt installed. Right now I don't lock the doors, if someone really wanted to get in they could just smash the glass. I thought about residential gates but those aren't the best and pretty expensive believe it or not. I'm looking at something like this that will be around 400-500$

Sounds like an inexpensive fix, now cleaning up all that oil is gonna be the hard part!

Should be able to save your self some bux by changing the rotors and pads on your own. It's a pretty straightforward and simple job anyone can do. If you can jack up the car and take the wheel off, then you more than likely can do your brakes. :)

Go to your local dealership first and ask for it before buying some. I went to the one down the street from me and they just gave me one and told me to come back when I need another one.

Dang!! WTF is with people these days??? My house was broken into last month too!! :mad: Twice in one week!!! That weekend we bought a security system and had it installed right away!! Now we got motion sensors and cameras every where...and we had to replace our back door cuz they completely trashed it!! :mad: I live in Fort Knox now lol :lol:

Yeah I know, dude was whacked... I bought a camera to, it's a camera that allows me to control and view sectors of my house. Has pan/zoom/tilt and all that jazz, night visions and other cool stuff. I just got it to dick around with honestly, I should put a link up once I get everything for it.

People are just too damn lazy to work and buy their own stuff. I will never understand how people can steal. I've been taking aikido classes so I can kick some butt if I ever have to. I can already throw a full grown man on the ground lol. I think every woman should know how to do that.

Swift kick in the balls usually works, I'm pretty original, I just box. I tried kung fu but I'm not the flexible type. I like boxing because it's more of a defensive art and not a offensive art. Alot of people think it's just working the upper body but you have the defend your legs. jujitsu is also good when combined with boxing :) I might look into aikido, looks okay.

It doesn't even take a lot of effort to throw a man, just a couple steps and lowering your center and he's down. You can also use a variation on the moves if they have a weapon.
