Really, lugnuts for Mother's Day?!

So Eric comes home yesterday and has Jae hand me a bag from Checker's, saying "Happy Mother's Day"! I look and it's 4 sets of lugnuts. I try to get excited, since I'm still using rusty old, mismatched nuts. "Yay, now they will match." He just kept looking at me like I was stupid. Ok, how excited should I be for lugnuts?! Then he says, "Your so slow." "Why?" "Your so slow!" "We know that, but why now?!" Then we go down to the shop to unload the truck, he told me he was going to help his brother move somethings from a self storage to the shop. So I went to help unload as his family never helps Eric do their dirty work. As we walk down I'm bitching that his brother couldn't come help. And he stops and says, "You really don't get it yet do you?!" I notice there is nothing visiable in the back of the truck. I walk past and into the shop. Next thing I know my kids are rolling in RS wheels! Yes, it took me seeing the wheels to realize that I got wheels and not just lugnuts! hahaha Then I tried not to act like a giddy school girl bouncing around the shop like an idiot, so he thought I wasn't happy about the wheels. Oh, but I am very happy abotu the wheels! We put them on right then. They look much better than the painted black steelies I had! And now I have a specific set of tires/wheels to play in the dirt with! Couldn't have received a better Mother's Day present! Now to get the springs off my car so I don't have 5in between wheel and wheel well! haha That part still looks kind of goofy.

I'm also debating painting them white, I like 2.5guy's white wheels. And it will fit with me whiting out everything else on my car! haha

I have been looking through all kinds of wheel options and I always come back to the RS 6 spokes, they are simple, but nice. Kind of understated, like my car! haha

wrong fiance? :lol: My GF got me a BUNCH of stuff to help me get Sno*Drift prepared last year for christmas and put it all in a couple of new tool boxes. As over it as I get from time to time, can't deny the fact she supports my subie habit. Her ex/baby daddy hates it cause he used to have a WRX and had to get rid of it. I bought the daughter a remote control STi for Christmas just to throw some salt in the wound :devil:

Though I'm starting to think he thinks it is already his car! Everytime I bring up wanting to do something he says no it'll look funny or won't add anything to power/preformance. Or he says, "But I don't like that." Does that matter? When the car is yours in a year (or 2) you can change it then! THEN a few weeks later, he's like we should dah, dah, dah, dah. Wait, isn't that what I wanted 3 weeks ago?! haha Silly man!
But if it takes him "coming up" with the idea, that's fine by me! LoL
