She won "Best Original and Modified from 1980+" in the first car show I put her in! There were over 950 cars competing at that car show... I was definitely surprised!

Though I tried doing most the work myself... I can't take credit for a few things (painted headlights... also had help when putting on lowering springs)...

But, I heart my red tails even more! The trade was seriously effortless... and me and Beckee had the tail lights swapped in like 15 minutes tops. The kid just sat and watched us, haha, it was silly.

Yeah, after pulling my headlights like 5 or 6 times on my car (PITA)... we probably could have pulled my tail lights blind folded if I knew it was that easy.
It worked out well.. the kid had a WRB car with black housing painted headlights, blacked out tint windows, black accent wheels... so the black tails looked really well on his car. And the red matching all the red accents on mine looks perfect... so it was a win/win swap :D I am so happy

Personally not a fan of the 04/05 tails I prefer the cleared 06/07 but I gotta say those look damn good on a black subie!!! You should do JDM mod to this :)

Haven't posted in a bit... life has been "crazy" to say the least.
Sad news... SubaLou went to a new home in October :( I honestly can't remember the last time I cried that hard... it was pretty brutal.

BUT

All for a good cause. I found out in August that Lou is going to be a mommy! We are expecting our little boy (Rylan) on May 6th :) though he may come a little bit earlier due to some complications. We are VVEERRRYYYY excited for the little peanut to get here!

I temporarily had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (gross)... but currently have the car that I had been waiting patiently to get. Had to fly out to Northern Cali to get her and drive her home. Newest member of the family... 2004 Forester XT Limited... paid 90% cash for her too! <3

Before she was even registered... I already got to work.

Picked up some stock 06 WRX wheels... my friend Shawn at Unkown Coatings powdercoated them a chrome bronze for me:

The chrome grill was yucky, so I pulled that off and plasti-dipped it:

Monster truck status also had to go... so I lowered her on 06 WRX stock suspension with 3/8" saggy butt spacers:

Last night... me and the boy put in an Alpine CDE 102 deck and wired up my 10" Alpine Type R Sub... hope baby likes bass! :D

Having something else installed next week... it's a surprise... I will post once it goes on though!

haha the WRX is my mommy mobile! and it's our fast car. some people are confused when we tell them it's my daily driver. but when you are a stay at home mom you don't put many miles on it. :D

You don't know how true that will be! haha I would love leather for that reason. It is a little tougher to get a tight car seat install, but it is possible. Definitly find a tech to help install the child seat for the first time though.

I love the look. Especially those chrome/bronze wheels.
If the plasti-coat grille does chip (it might not), then maybe you can get the grille painted with chrome bronze paint around the perimeter, and black inside.

I haven't noticed any chipping yet... but it's too soon to say. The only issue with that would be that you can't powdercoat the grill because it is plastic... so I would just have to try and find a paint that looked similar to my wheel color. We'll see how it goes :)
