My previous car was a 96 Legacy and I called her Mildred because she was an old b****.
I don't have a name of the Impreza yet. I haven't gotten to know her well enough yet.

I have to agree that name is awesome. I drove a wagon for almost three years and I never felt lesbo-ish. In fact I felt more Soccer Mom in the wagon.

My 04 WRX is Wrex. I know, how original. But it was what the previous owner named him and I knew the car as Wrex before I bought him and I couldn't just change his name.

well it's not like i call my girlfriends "my car"... i consider it more of a term of affection to call a car a girl's name, it makes it easier to care for it if i feel some sort of affection for it(im weird, i know) I could give it a cutesy nickname like "baby-cakes" seeing as how girls always say my car is cute.:lol:

i haven't and won't ever say i OWN a woman. i make payments on a car, hence i own it. they are 2 entirely different things. if i were in a relationship where i felt like i owned my girlfriend, i would break up with her, it's just not fun if i feel like i have some sort of control over what she does, i wont OWN something that has a mind and should have free will.
