My Problems Might Be Over

While browsing our local classified ads I found a guy doing an STi swap in a 98 L. He's selling everything, tranny, enigine, you name it. Well, I need a MAF ($220), an ignition coil ($120), and new head gaskets (haven't price checked those yet). I called him and he's willing to part with his entinre motor and airintake with the MAF for $300. It does have more miles than my motor but is in full working order. Eric is double checking to make sure we'll have the cash for him tomorrow when the parts will be ready for pick-up. If so than I will have a fully working car! I really hope no one calls him before we can get the money collected willing to I really need these things! ANd if I need to I will call him crying about how much I need them, use m poor,y innocent girl card! haha

The motor is now setting in my shop! I think I might pull the MAF off so I can atleast have my car if there is an emergency. Then this weekend I think Eric is going to tear into it. I can;t wait to have my car back!

While picking it up he found that the guy selling it is on our local subie sight, he couldn't remember his screen name, his real name is Ryan though. They talked about the swap Ryan was doing and Eric with his turbo and all that fun stuff. Then Ryan brought up a local Tuesday meet they do weekly and Eric is thinking about going. Which is funny because I have brought up going to one and he told me it was stupid! Men! haha
