[SoH] is a celebration of all forms of the automotive passion. Rather then focus on one make, or specific model of vehicle, or one style of build, [SoH] focuses on fostering its members creativity. What do you want to build today?

Seth Cruver [SoH] Car club is holding a "Cruise vacation" from July 2nd to the 4th (Or actually early morning the 5th), 2010. We are encouraging all members, nonmembers,and otherwise interested parties to come out for the weekend. We are looking to take donations on a voluntary basis for wounded vets.

Right now, I'm working on a more detailed itinerary to come. Is there anything anyone wants to see?

While the merits of not being a mark specific site are indeed noble, don't be surprised if this Lake George Cruise/Meet is full of Honduhs, Oldmobiles [rip], Pontiacs [rip], VWs & Audis, Mitsubishis, New York State police troupers and only a very small number of Subarus.

Im not predjudice to hanging out w/ other non-subaru car enthusiasts... So we will probably still go, regardless subies or not it will be a fun time... I hear the fireworks show there is really good. And according to mysubie there are 62 attendees so that should be at least 30 subaru's from that site attending....

Boss lady is open to it. To be honest, I'll probably be local around that time. But if I do want to go, I'll prob hitch a ride with someone else b/c wrex is sad with lots of mileage. And he wsa just at Lake George for the 48 Hours of Tristate. :rolleyes:

I'm also going to put up something about trying to put together a white water rafting trip. Not sure on the details yet but I figured it would be nice to hang for the weekend with everyone.

Ooo I was confuseed I though you meant on the same weekend as this event... Ive never been white water rafting, do i ned to be a strong swimmer or will someone jump in and rescue me when I flip off the raft? :lol:

they tell you if you fall out of the boat, keep your legs in front of you (because letting them drag on the surface will cause you to get caught on rocks/debris and could hinder you from floating) and to get yourself to the shore. we had 2 people fall out on our trip and they were fine... just really scared. they bring a rope to get you :)

hey, if this cruise is still happening, its a great weekend to be in lake george!!! i will definitely be there, cause i have a summer job up there, look forward to meeting some of you!

Im :( cuz I was supposed to go to this during my week vaca. But Since I got that new job it was either take in now or lose it being paid, so now I have to work... wahhh, If it wasnt so far I'd do the weekend but thats alot of driving for 1-2 days for us....
