Ok so I want to take this girl out for her "dream date"
She likes seafood so I figured why not take her down to a nice beach restaurant.
I did some research online I found Beach Head Restaurant in east haven ct. Looks to be the only "beach" restaurant actually relatively close to the beach.
Anyways I checked the weather cause they have a second floor balcony patio thing. Was thinking 8pm cause sunset is at 8:31pm
It's a Italian / seafood place soo im thinking more dressy then casual
and would one rose be over kill when I pick her up?!?!
The website kinda sucks but http://www.beachheadct.com/
Feedback yes no?!!? :sarah:

Aww that sounds sweet and briefly from looking at the website it looks like a nice place. The rose sounds sweet, personally if I was the datee I would like that a lot.

Depends how well you know her, a single rose is a wise choice. If you really like her I think that will show her. Just remember to be confident and to ask her for a second date. If you were smart you'd slip a letter into her purse when she isn't looking, in the letter keep it really simple; "I had a awesome time, missing you" Just go with the flow.
She have a sister?
Aww its so romantic how much thought you've put into it, I mean arranging the perfect time to se the sunset.. awwwwww.... Date scenario sounds like she'll enjoy but if this is your first date, lay back on the rose. Its kinda corny unless you already know her and like her and know the feeling is mutual. Leave it for the 3rd to 4th date....

I agree just see how it goes first before giving a rose, even if it is just one. Great idea on the date though!

The date sounds thoughtful. Especially w/ the sunset... but don't forget the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. So it may not be as spectacular as you think.
Also - the rose is a bit too cliche. What about another single flower? Gerbera daisy maybe? :)

Its a real sweet idea, but I agree with the other girls about the rose. I would use a flower that is in season down there right now.

What do you consider "romantic music?" How old are you? How old is she?

Is this a first date or have you guys been dating before?

That's what I'm saying.
Are you going on a date or proposing?!? I wouldn't go too over board. But Michael Buble is romantic and a bit more "up to date" without being too cheesy I think.

Probably wouldn't be a good thing to tell her, "I picked this song for you!" Oh yeah who sings it? Michael bubbles :p

It's pronounced boo-blay. :p
I would not recommend anything anywhere near this. You need to keep it simple if it's the 1st few set of dates. I could see this freaking her out pretty easily. Save this level of stuff for special occasions. Don't use up your good stuff too early ;).
1st few dates i'd keep it simple - ice cream, swim to a local watering hole. Avoid activities where there is little social interaction like movies, unless you do a movie night then you have more freedom like make a drink (if of age), hot cocoa, popcorn, theme dinner with it. Crank up the A/C and have a blanket ready. :)

 no way... I doubt she'll go to your house on the first date... that's like trying to lure a kid into your mini van with candy. Just keep it simple, a dinner and maybe a walk and talk would be fine. It's a first date so you're both going to want to learn each other. Don't be like, come to my house, it has A/C and booze, then later I can wear your thighs like ear muffs...

This seems a bit pushy. I mean movie nights are something that couples do when they don't feel like going out. I would never accept this from a guy I'm just dating. Way too over the top.

I totally agree. As a woman that would seem extremely creepy. The only way I could see this working is if they were friends first. And even then you still want to date the person so you want to take them and try to impress them.
I agree. I would never invite someone over I just met as a 1st date. But I don't really know the conditions that he knows this girl or much information really.

You're both still young. I think a flower and beach dinner is nice and not going over board.
