1. White 04-05 STi, all pink details (badge, wheels with white trim, vinyl, seats -maybe-, neons under and inside scoop)
2. That micah grey with the same stuff, only all black int.
I saw this pick, and I'm in absolute LOVE with the car, but I want to be more original than that, don't want to copy hahaha..
I'm relatively new to cars that you can customize, so any OTHER ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Someone once told me that they picked a few cars (subarus) tha they really liked and used them as role models if you will. They picked and chooses modifications etc. With a goal in mind. I LOOOOVE they gray sti attached. I also really like the dc gumball 3000 rally cars. I think you could pick one or two more cars and mix them all together.
Subarus are kind of cool because 5 people can have the same car and visually/performance wise really make them stand out as individuals.
Good luck and keep us posted!!

For example white and gold or black and gold look so nice together. What if you worked on the gray/pink STi but in a white/gold or black/gold version?

i love that that grey sti pic you posted! black/pink combo is seen a lot, but i don't think i've ever seen the grey/pink.. you should def mix and match ideas from a few cars
and i agree with sarah... there can be 5 silver bugeye wagons infront of me and each will look totally different just because subarus rule hehe =)

Wheels: White spokes and pink rim, including the inside radius.
Just imagine a 2-piece wheel. If you remove the center hub/spokes then you are left with a rim to which the tire is mounted. That inside surface should be painted in its entirety. This way when you look through the spokes you see that the rest is also pink.
With this, also consider having the brake-rotor hats painted pink to match.
Neon Lighting: Make sure that the actual light-source itself (the neon/lamp/bulb) cannot be seen. If for example you have neon lighting under the car, you are not supposed to be able to see the neon tubing itself. You are only allowed to see the projected light on the ground.
Also, beware that if you do illuminate the hoodscoop that this may be considered a "foward projected light" or "lighting toward the front of the vehicle" and if that should be the case then pink is out. Meaning you are only allowed to project a white or amber light forward of the car. I know, if you can't see the actual neon itself but only the illumination inside the scoop then how can that be illegal? I'm not against you trying so if you do it, do it and see what happens.
Interior: If all black then have pink stitching installed and have the seat uppers embossed with "STI".
Also, if you have or will have a short-throw-shifter, get a leather boot with pink stitching: www.redlinegoods.com

I didn't even think about the legal aspect of the lights in the HS... I'll def check them out; as for the wheels, awesome idea, same with the rotors. IDK if I can afford to get custom stitching on the seats though. Any idea how much that may cost??
Thanks again, you're awesome.

I wouldn't have the slightest idea how much stiching would cost.
The OEM covers on the seats can be removed. How? That depends. Some are put in place using zippers and hog-rings. I know that on my 2006 WRX that the upper cover is zipped inside the opening and at the lower part at the back-side. The base cover however I'm not sure. This may mean the removal of the seat from the car just to see how the bottom cover is installed.
I would see if you can find a good upholstery shop, say one that deals with high-end furniture (e.g. fabric and leather coverings) or a custom-car shop that does these sorts of things (usually easier said than done).
Glad you like the wheel idea.
